This event is taking place from Thursdy 20th to Monday 24th November 2025. Participants can arrive on Friday morning and leave on Sunday evening if they prefer.
Our venue for Wise Women run 2 is the homely Seahouses Hostel in a small town on the north east coast of Northumberland, in the north of England UK.

Physical Accessibility
Accommodation in Seahouses Hostel is contained within a single building. The cottage is newly renovated but retains period features and rough stone walls in places. The main door is step-free with a sloped paved surface
(please note that the side door is shown in the above photo, rather than the main entrance).
The outside of the venue is a mix of tarmac and gravel, with car parking within a few metres of the door. To the rear of the venue is a walled garden with sloped grassy areas. Participants are free to use the outside areas, but no planned game activities will take place here.
The Hostel Warden has provided the following information about accessibility:
"Our ground floor is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and access to all communal facilities including the lounge, dining room and kitchen. In addition, Roddam, a bright, comfortable and spacious dormitory, is also located on the ground floor for easy access. This room has 3 bunks, sleeping 6. It comes complete with an ensuite wet room custom built with grab rails, emergency pull cord, shower seat and level access and is ideal for any guests with mobility concerns."
Additionally, there are 2 twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms for anyone requiring a room with private bathroom access. Remaining accommodation is in bunkbeds on the first floor.

Travel Information
Seahouses is located on the east coast of England, close to the border with Scotland. It is very close to Holy Island and Lindisfarne if anyone is coming for an extended visit!
Flying: the nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport (NCL). From the airport you can rent a car and drive for about 1.5 hours to the venue. Alternatively there are trains from Newcastle Central Station to Alnwick, from which a taxi can be arranged.
Trains: Alnwick is the closes train station. Taxis or local buses can be used to reach Seahouses, which is about 25 mins drive away.
